About

 

I am an Irish artist based in Dublin, whose creative journey has taken many turns over the years.. you could say an organic flow just like my artistic process. I draw inspiration from the textures and colours of nature, capturing the essence of Ireland's countryside and coastline in my work. Skies, water, forests and seas are my inspiration and even celestial space features in some of my work.  I am intrigued how people interpret different meanings from my abstract paintings. 

My art reflects a deep connection to the natural world, celebrating its beauty through my creative designs. My artistic process embraces a loose creativity, allowing each piece to evolve naturally. I am committed to creating artwork and products that evoke a sense of harmony and inspire meaningful connections to nature.

I like to experiment with different styles and natural materials and media to create interesting mark making and texture in my pieces. Above all, I wish to convey joy and a sense of peace when you observe my art, so that the viewer finds it uplifting and inspirational. 

This is shown in my most recent solo exhibitions 'Sublime Expressions of Light' (The Cowshed Gallery Farmleigh (Mar/Apr 2025), 'Beyond Boundaries' Blanchardstown Library(Nov 2024)  'The Energy Within' (July 2024) and 'Colour my World' (July 2023).  

I am a versatile artist and enjoy working in a range of media from alcohol inks, watercolours, pen and ink architectural drawings, acrylics, oils and mixed media incorporating collage and stencilling. I also have a keen interest in photography and interior design and I use my qualifications in both to create and paint local Irish landscapes and architecture, with a contemporary and unique perspective.  

I am currently working with Irish Interior Designers, incorporating my work in Irish Interiors and I have  recently exhibited at Showcase Ireland 2025 -50th year anniversary last January.

I am a frequent exhibitor at ‘Art on the Veranda/Horizon Artists’ at Dun Laoghaire Harbour and also ‘The People’s Art’ in St Stephen’s Green during the Summer months, I enjoy meeting people and sharing my love of art and my  painting process with the public. A recent development as a result of participating in Showcase 2025, I have just recently developed a new product line featuring fine art prints, greeting cards, 100% silk scarves and stationery. My goal is to bring the beauty of Ireland’s landscapes into homes worldwide, establishing myself as a distinctive and innovative voice in contemporary Irish art.
