Returns Policy

At Elaine Watters Art, we want to ensure our customers are given every opportunity to make sure their purchase is right for them, that is why we have a 30-day return policy in-store and online, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you wish to return and item due to ‘a change of mind’ or if you wish to make an exchange for another item, the shipping charge will be paid by the customer.

To start a return, you can contact us at elainewattersart@gmail.com and tell us your reason for returning the item. If your return is accepted, we will ask you to proceed with packaging and returning your item to us, please ensure to include the Returns Form in your parcel. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

*Items returned from the U.K. may be subject to tax/duty charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
If you have commissioned a painting, a return is not possible due to the large amount of time invested in producing your bespoke art. However as an Artist who cares that you are 100% happy with your commission I will endeavour to work with you throughout the process to ensure the brief is met.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. The goods are your responsibility until they reach us so please ensure that they are packed properly and can’t get damaged on the way. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We recommend

We recommend that you obtain proof of postage, including tracking of your returning items to ensure that we receive them safely.

If you wish to return your item in-store, we will be happy to oblige. Items returned in store are subject to the same inspection and criteria as items returned online. Please see our hours of opening at www.elainewattersart.ie.
